Something that my friends and I noticed immediately was the lack of a more seamless feature to join each other’s games / condos.
As of right now, when you click on a friend’s name via the drop-down, you can invite them to your current game or server. What is missing is a proper “Join” button. It seems strange that we can’t join the same server as our friend within the games panel. Instead, I have to open my Steam Overlay, find them on my friends list, and then join them.
If it was intentional to leave that feature out for safety reasons, it’s a moot point since steam’s native friends-list options allow this anyways.
Something that should be mentioned is that the Steam overlay is flat out useless sometimes. Your friend could have their condo set to public, but the join game button sometimes doesn’t show up. Another thing is that sometimes, if someone is in, let’s say virus for example, and you click on join game, it will just join the last lobby server your friend was on hours ago.

You’re very correct with that. I deal with that across all other steam games without fail. I haven’t experienced it in TU yet, but i’m sure I will at some point.
With the nature of the game, it also just seems like a Join option would be native to the experience.
