Accelerate [Must Have Changes]

Hi I am new to this so I don’t know if I will get positive or negative reactions.

Needed changes are as follow

  • Offroad to reduce player speed by 70% near instantly (People currently lose hardly any speed without a boost causing an advantage without any effort Offroad Issue )
  • Offroad drifting to be only allowed when using a Melon boost or any other boost effect item
  • Item usage to be disabled while in a spin out
  • Melon boosts to be instant acceleration and speed instead of gradual (sometimes the melon doesn’t give the full effect depending on current speed)
  • Fix Golden melon killing all boost momentum when you stop using it (keep golden melon momentum)
  • Make single player timetrial have consistent triple boosts for a more enjoyable timetrial experience
    I have played many Karting games. I know this doesn’t strive to be the top but I want to be a passive and great experience all around. Though if this does get approved then a leaderboard reset will be required.

Very much agree with this. The mode is also not fun to play in multiplayer sessions usually, due to how laggy movement and drifting can be. My main hope for accelerate is the mode getting a massive revamp in the future, because right now it definitely isn’t as great as it probably could be.

A speedometer can actually be found on the bottom left of your screen at all times during the race!

I agree with everything EXCEPT for this idea: “Offroad drifting to be only allowed when using a Melon boost or any other boost effect item”. All I can see this doing is annoying people, so maybe let’s keep it.

That shortcut in this video needs to have a gingerbread fence, because of the holiday~ :stuck_out_tongue:
