PSA for all running into the startup crash in the 0.7.1.0 update.
The reason for the crash is that Tower Unite has been updated, but Steam hasn’t started downloading the file by itself.
To fix this you need to right click on the game in your Library and then click on properties:
Then click on the Local Files tab:
And then press the “Verify integrity of game files” button:
Then Steam will automatically check the game for damaged or missing files and determine that one is missing:
After it has discovered the missing file and downloaded it you should be able to play again.
