Localization is when you translate an object, be it a game or website, to several other languages.
What you are describing is voice proximity, which isn’t yet added into Tower Unite, but will be added later on in development.

ah, okay. thats where the confusion was. i was using the term local because of the common usage when describing text chat. thank you for the clarification, glad its being added.

If it makes you feel better, I knew what you meant but I forgot what it was called, so I just assumed you were right. Also, I don’t remember that being in GMT but then again, I haven’t played it awhile.
