A guide on setting up MIDI on more featureful audio software

I’ve been fiddling with MIDI in general for a long while and from day one of the MIDI update was already seeing how far i could push things by controlling it from a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).

I know some folks out there had played around with some of these but not many knew of their MIDI capabilities (and to be fair most of them are pretty convoluted)

So I compiled a guide on how to get MIDI up and running in some of the DAWs I used, some of them were left behind but I believe the current list is good enough as it covers some pretty popular ones.

The ones covered here were Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, and Studio One.
I might do more in the future but for now these should be enough especially to not overwhelm with choices those who haven’t touched such programs before.
