PS: UE4 version 4.12.0 was just released:
Are any of the new updates being ported to TU?
EG: Planar reflections look great, fixes many of those lighting errors with water.
As well as improved high quality reflections
Grass and Foliage scalability looks nice too
And the sequencer will help animation a lot
That’s not all this update adds too. There are a TON Of changes here!
I assume they added the Oculus Touch editor? Or is it still alpha.
Mmhmm, you should be set with an Oculus. It currently works with the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
Important: VR Editor mode requires motion controllers to interact with the world and UI, so you'll need either an HTC Vive or an Oculus Rift with Touch controller development hardware.
Fine then. Time to buy a Vive! Oh wait, not enough cash…
Ikr? I wish I had the money for a Vive. I would already be making games for it. There’s hardly any good ones on the market. >.>
I wouldn’t have to make a game but messing around with Unity and Ue4 would be fun too.
Agreed, I can only imagine how awesome it feels to be floating around in space and making items appear out if thin air.
