I think it would be really cool to have a condo item that lets players create 3D 8-directional sprite characters.
Right now, we already have the Canvas Statue, which works well for displaying a single flat sprite or image. However, it would be awesome to have a more character-focused version that can swap between multiple sprite angles depending on where the player is viewing it from.
The idea would be similar to how the Arcade Ticket Vendor NPC appears: a 2D sprite character that feels like it exists in 3D space by changing direction based on the camera angle. For condos, this could let players make custom NPCs, pixel-art characters, decorations, standees, or themed interactive-looking scenes.
This would open up a lot of creative possibilities for condos, especially for people making arcades, shops, RPG-style rooms, restaurants, haunted houses, or themed worlds. It would also give players a way to make custom sprite characters without needing full 3D models.
