[1.1.1.2] Movers do not disconnect properly

Movers seem to not be disconnecting their connections properly.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Connect an object to a mover (I tested this with a canvas cube, but I’d imagine it happens with all items.)
  • Disconnect Object with mover
  • Observe!

What I expected to happen

For the object to return to it’s original position; Mover should no longer move object.

What happened

Mover continues to move object like normal until stashed.

Notes / Media

I’ve discovered that this issue seems to also happen with @video connections. This probably happens with all persistent connections, then.

This is still an issue in 1.1.2.1. And for me I have to stash and replace the mover itself to properly disconnect not the object that was previously connected

They do connect, but you wont actually see it until you rejoin, I had this happening when I was adjusting the elevator mover in my last condo, if I unlinked the mover, then grouped more shit to the elevator, then reconnect the mover, the new shit wouldn’t move with the elevator, but if I left and reloaded, the new shit was actually attached to it and moving properly.

The game has MAJOR issues with condos right now in several areas, especially for clients. At some point they’re gonna need to stop adding more and more stuff and go back and fix all the stuff adding it broke along the way.

Bug is still occurring as of 1.1.3.0

Still happens on 1.1.4.0. Easy repro:

Make a simple mover

Attach Item A to it

Modify the attachment connection such that it instead connects to Item B

Expected: Item A does not move and Item B does

Actual: Item A still acts as though it is attached and Item B does not

This is now fixed in the Bug Fix Round-Up #2
