If your character is positioned under a low ceiling such that they crouch without you pressing the crouch keybind, any emotes that lower the camera act as if you’re still standing. This results in your camera moving into the floor much of the time.
To my knowledge this is actually a fairly old bug (I have memory of it happening long before 1.0) but I haven’t seen anyone report it.
Steps to Reproduce
Crouch under a low ceiling. Example below.
Stop holding the crouch key. Your character should remain crouched.
Perform an emote such as sleep, sit, or lay back.
What I expected to happen
Your camera lowers the correct amount to stay aimed on your character’s head.
What happened
The camera is lowered too far, into the floor or whatever you are standing on.
Notes (!)
This actually happens if you’re holding the crouch key too, you just need to be under a low ceiling so that you’d be forced into a crouch anyway.
