[1.0.1.0] Fireworks bugs

As you remember, you changes fireworks a bit ago to re-spawn instead of being consumed. They work fine on first use.

After re-spawning:

  • All models no longer show the wick sparks when they’re lit.
  • The Firework Spinner & Firework UFO no longer emit while spinning.

On a side note, fireworks kinda weak in this game. Based on how the eletric spark Particle FX looks, I think fireworks could look MUCH better in the game, like these in Rust:

Thanks for the reports.

The firework particles were made back at the beginning of the project and never touched since. We’ve learned a lot about the particle systems since then and could make better particles but I haven’t found the time.

I mean, you have a lot of particle FX you could use with them. as the dev, unlike us, you have the ability to properly scale them down, lol.

Here’s my makeshift fireworks with Fire Trails and Lava Spray effects. Of course they don’t scale down, and aren’t colorable which is a bummer, but better than nothing. I wanted to you that one spark, but it’s tiny and you can’t make it bigger. The flame jet also can’t scale down to make little blow torch sized flames.
