[1.0.1.0] Ceiling Light sound not mutable

The latest version is [1.0.1.0]

In a condo, when turning on/off a “Ceiling Light”, you can hear the lightswitch flick sound. However, in editing the Ceiling Light, Properties, Light Special, Advanced (>), Play Sound IO is off. Once enabled, it seems like the sound is played twice, as it’s louder.

Steps to Reproduce

Place a Ceiling Light, bought from Central Circuit, interact with it (Turn on/off) and hear the sound playing without “Play Sound IO” enabled.

What I expected to happen

I was expecting the Ceiling Light toggle to only sound upon enabling “Play Sound IO”.

I’m pretty sure that option is meant for when you turn the light off using I/O (like a button or switch) not interacting with the light itself.

Bit of a late response from me, but yeah true. I must admit, I can’t relate with this bug report anymore, and I’ve since delved more into I/O. Currently I don’t really see a problem anymore.

Perhaps at the time, I was trying to simply trying to mute the sound, as I placed a toggle on toggling the light, preventing interaction, which still plays the toggle sound (stacked with the sound of the I/O, derp). Nowadays I either prevent interaction through buttons or simply the condo settings.

I think this one can be closed
