Summary
If you hide something in the game, it usually disables its collision. This is not the case with specific workshop items.
Steps to Reproduce
- Place the specific broken workshop item
- Utilize the side menu to hide the workshop item
- Run into / over the workshop item, collide
What I expected to happen
For collision to be disabled, like all other objects in the game when hidden.
What happened
Cannot hide workshop items without collision issues. Cannot utilize IO to unhide items for new collision successfully.
Notes
Regular “collision disabled” works fine with these.
This… does not seem to happen with all workshop items.
The one I have found is this one:
I’ve tried about 15 more items and not found others. Not sure what is special about this one. I thought maybe because it was “enterable,” with fancy custom collision, but I tried several other fancy collision items with no results.
