[0.8.6.0] Missing Flames and Players particles

I shouldn’t probably throw those together, but since those are classic issues which doesn’t happen for the other ¨classical players¨, I might suspect it to be Steam Proton related.
I also know this is the sub-forum for the actual Linux build which has been abandoned, due to the poor support and performance of Unreal, compared to running the game natively with Proton, Feel free to close or move this issue to the other game issues reports.
All those screenshots were taken in normal conditions, at pretty stable framerates (See top right) and, at an Ultra quality.
I can confirm seeing the same issue with the flamethrower in games of zombie massacre, however, I don’t seem to have tooked a screenshot for it.
If needed, I can try to reproduce it, to catch some logs.
Until then, Here’s my Steam Build config :

Don´t be scared to ask, if you need me to translate the config text back to english.

You can probably rule out Proton.
You can see the Jinglebells particle in your first screenshot, it’s above the ghost pet, they appear mostly around the head but aren’t so easy to see. I tested all of them and I see every particle effect.

I also see the Flamethrower effect normally(since It was implemented), I checked both DX11 and 10, and each graphics setting(low-ultra) for each of them and saw the flame effects on all. Using same GPU and Nvidia driver version.
Using Proton 4.11-11, and 4.2-9 had no issues like this either. My guess is that it was a random bug, I’d verify the files and try again and see if it’s still missing. I don’t think I missed anything in testing but I can’t reproduce this.

Let me know if verifying files doesn’t work, but I don’t really know what else I could test that would be the difference factor other than some problem with the files.

Well, one weird thing about the particles, is that the previously available particles, like the sweat drops and the macaroni ones I’ve already bough previously, were showing up as expected and were a lot more visible than that.
No missing files were found after a verification. I’ll try to move Tower Unite to an even faster SSD to see if it’s not due to textures caching or anything like that.
Proton 4.11-11 was used during those screenshots, I didn’t try any other versions, neither any customized Proton versions.
Moving the topic out of the Linux Beta section.

Well, It seems that it was an issue with my config or something, since it fixed itself.
Closing it.
