[0.8.5.0] Microphone stays on without holding push-to-talk

I can’t seem to replicate this bug, but I was in the casino typing in chat when several other players told me they could hear my keyboard. This is not the first time this has happened.

The microphone indicator on the UI was not on, nor was I holding down my push-to-talk key. My mic was always on without my knowledge for the last 5 minutes. It’s alarming to know that other people might have this glitch as well, not knowing that other players can hear everything they’re doing or saying.

This has happened to me so many times to some embarrassing results. I think it happens when you’re holding your push-to-talk key, but get disconnected from a server, so the input stays active.

I’ve gotten into the habit of just pressing my key for a quick moment when joining a server to fix it.

I can confirm this has happened to me too. I assumed it was because I mapped my push-to-talk to caps lock.

I was condo hopping and someone said “Hey blue turn your mic off, I can hear American Dad playing in the background”. Turned around and sure enough my tv had American Dad on. No mic indicator on screen. very unsettling not knowing if people can hear you and your surroundings.
