It has happened across both Trainyard and Village several times, I keep getting stuck with 1 zombie left, I’ve searched for them for several minutes, many times, but to no avail.

I’ve seen some fall through the world at the start of the game, maybe it gets caught somewhere?

I’ve had this problem too. Sometimes it can hold up the game for over two minutes.
Happened two times in a row on Compound, Day 3 and Day 2, I’m so annoyed right now.
