[0.6.0.1] Textures appear incredibly low quality, even on ultra

this might be because of my bad internet, but the textures for some reason appear incredibly low quality. for some reason this doesn’t happen to workshop items, or canvases

I’ve been noticing this, too [0.6.0.1]. 0.6.0.1 forcefully enables motion blur in the Plaza, but there is no option in the Graphics Settings to turn off JUST the motion blur. So I have to turn down the entire Post Processing setting to low, and that is what makes my textures look like complete trash. However, when I change my Post Processing back to Ultra to get my textures back to normal, they stay where they were at low. So now I have really low-resolution textures and particle effects, AND a high-intensity motion blur that I cannot remove. This adds up for my PC to run Tower Unite’s Plaza at one frame every twelve to fifteen seconds, when first starting up, then less than twenty frames per second when more situated. Idk how to fix this except buy a new, more powerful PC, which is not going to happen.

The blur is a separate issue.

What this post is about is a VRAM issue. The game ran out of VRAM to store textures on and now will start to use lower resolution textures to help. I believe this is due to unoptimized workshop add-ons.

Workshop models don’t generate mipmaps (lower resolution textures) so they always look crisp.

i see.
will this ever be fixed? i wanna take screenshots of me condo, but i don’t wanna make a thread filled with screenshots showing jpegged textures
