If you stand still and hold crouch with a weapon, you don’t crouch. However, the forward/backward/left/right crouch animations work properly, and crouching works fine when a weapon isn’t equipped.
Yeah, I noticed this too while playing. We’ll make a patch for it soon. I believe it’s due to the unreleased emote system work I did.
