[0.3.7.3] Problem with the ghost hunting despawning (?)

I was just playing the Ghost Hunting minigame and I noticed most of my shots weren’t registering. After testing it a bit more, I found out it’s probably due to the ghosts not visually despawning upon being hit by other players. I could, for instance, hit freshly spawned hellspawns, but after a moment they became unhittable, while ascending way further than they usually do before getting hit.

This happened on Frankfurt 2, and other people pointed it out as well.
