[0.18.8.0] An assortment of SDNL Weapon bugs

I needed to write a bunch of SDNL weapon bug reports, but there are so many I felt it was better to write one singular post instead. So forgive me if the formatting is unconventional lol


  • General

    • When a weapon gets removed from your inventory, it leaves you with an “Empty”, invisible spot when scrolling your weapon wheel, if you select it, you will have nothing on your hand.
    • Adding to the thing above; all of the Super Weapons currently get removed from your inventory if their magazine is empty, no matter if you have ammo reserved or not. This gets very annoying in Gun Game in particular.

  • Magnum, Pirate Gun and Super Shotty
    The muzzle flash light stays on if you hold the shoot button.

  • Dual Uzi
    When you run out of ammo, it still makes normal shooting sounds on top of the empty magazine sound.

  • Garand

    • This weapon can share ammo with Automatic weapons under certain circumstances, this makes this weapon’s Ammo reserve go over the max of 24 bullets (up to 150).
    • To reproduce this you need to have it in your inventory and pick up any Automatic weapon. It doesn’t work if this is done in reverse order.
    • If you’re aiming with the iron sights and press the reload button, it doesn’t play the reload animation.
  • Plushy Grenade
    This weapon has 1 Ammo reserve, but reloading it doesn’t do anything visually, you stand with an empty hand despite having reloaded.

  • Bowling Shotgun
    In multiplier as a client, Its projectiles stop coming out after reloading.

  • Minigun
    As a client, when you’re shooting this gun, your movement feels very jittery due to the knockback it produces not being networked properly.

Oughhh yes the weird ‘ghost slot’ has been bugging me for ages
