[0.18.5.1] Workshop: Playermodel scale change

While I’m not entirely sure if this was intentional or not since the new rig update playermodels received a change in scale that makes them shorter when using the newly provided 3.0 .blend file rig.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Download the recent Tower Unite Workshop Rig 3.0
  2. Rig a playermodel and import it into the game
  3. Upload and compare height to a model uploaded with the old rig

What I expected to happen

I figured playermodels would retain a similar size/height while using the new rig, and while this isn’t a HUGE problem it can be circumvented by just making the 3.0 rig bigger over on Blender.

What happened

The scale of playermodels using the new 3.0 rig is smaller to playermodels that used the old rig.

I’m not entirely sure if “fixing” this would make it so newer models suddenly are bigger or just updating the .blend file so that anyone who downloads the 3.0 rig again has playermodels that keep a similar size/height to models using the old rig, if a “solution” means that anything that is currently uploaded suddently changes size I personally wouldn’t go for it, since it might affect a model intended height/scale.

I know that this comparision might not help that much considering I crudely aligned these pictures on Paint, but it serves as an example on how much scale has changed between the old rig and the new 3.0 one
