The issue is that scaling of mouth/maw accessories isn’t working properly, but the issue also applies to their positioning. As far as I’m aware, this issue hasn’t been reported by anyone else on the forums and it has been in the game for quite a long time. I also don’t know for how long the issue has existed in the game. The bug itself is that, anytime scaling or rotation of an mouth/maw accessory is different from 0.00 and anytime that the scale is different than 1.0 in all 3 fields, the scale and positioning of said accessory, regardless of the accessory or player model equipped/used, will be drastically different and it will also be placed inside of the character’s mouth/maw. The problem will come back when the user resets all of the values back to 0.00 - It won’t come back however, if you have had a very small value such as 0.03 before resetting the values. In addition to this, if I remember correctly at the very least, such small values also do not take effect on the already broken mouth/maw accessory. Finally, the starting position and scale of the mouth/maw accessory are also incorrect.
Steps to Reproduce
Step 0: The starting position and scaling of the mouth/maw accessory is incorrect, as can be seen on the screenshot/image attached below:
Step 1: Change any of the values in scale, rotation or position fields of the mouth/maw accessory metadata from 0.00 to anything more than 0.10 (just to make sure the bug occurs and fits the summary of the problem I have provided - I did not test the actual values the problem seems to not come back at) - The scaling and positioning of the accessory will be wrong. Also, please excuse me forgetting to screenshot the change in rotation values - The issue still appears there however.
Step 2: Press “reset” button under any of the value fields, and observe as everything returns to the previous state:
What I expected to happen
I expected the scaling and positioning of mouth/maw accessory to be correct when changing the values of scale, rotation and position of it.
What happened
The mouth/maw accessories for player models appear to not be working correctly at the moment, which makes everything look off and also makes it harder to work with said accessories.
Notes / Media
1 - Screenshots are already attached in the steps for reproducing the bug/problem.
2 - Please do not mind the particular player model used for the bug report - If it needs changing, I kindly ask PixelTail Team staff to notify me about changes that need to be made for the model to be allowed on the Steam Workshop directly and for the removal of the current player model from Workshop. I do not wish to take risks and potentially get a community ban for uploading models that could potentially violate PixelTail Team’s content guidelines or Valve’s rules for content allowed on Steam Workshop.
