While fishing, you can no longer move or wiggle around the lure.

Go to “beach side pond”
Fish
Try to wiggle lure
What I expected to happen
To be able to move the lure around and scare fish as it used to be.
What happened
Cannot move lure. Fishing becomes very sad as you watch rare fish swim away you cannot move towards.

I tried unequipping my cosmetics to see if it helped and it didn’t seem to adjust anything.
This happens only at the “Beach side pond.”
Can’t test “Peninsula pond” at all because it doesn’t seem to let you fish, period.
The docks and boardwalk work as normal.
yeah, same thing happened to me~ fishing spots’ glow zones are also messed up as (only at Beach side pond and Peninsula pond; other fishing spots are fine with movable lure function)
This is going off of vague recollection, but I’ve remembered the beach side pond’s blue area looking like that for at least a few updates.
I noticed it an update or two ago and just brushed it off, as I thought perhaps I was mistaken or perhaps even it was some kind of lighting hiccup. I was still brand new to the game, so was more unsure. It’s why I stopped fishing on that side, I get motion sick! So I have actually also noticed that as well! Beachside is usually the only pond I use.
I have the same issue.
The Peninsula pond doesn’t work to fish in at all.
Beach side I can’t move my lure.
Boardwalk and docks I can move lure and fish, but 85% of the time I don’t actually get anything, even when I successfully reel in the fish. Which means I have to go to the beach side pond anyways.
