[0.18.11.0] Steam Overlay is enlarged & Alt+Shift breaks the game

Since launch of the Anniversary Event the Steam Overlay appears enlarged on my screen. FPS in the upper-right corner is enlarged and stretched, blocking out version information on the title screen and for now I have turned it off and am using the in-game FPS counter. Steam and achievement notifications take up the entire lower-right corner of the screen.

I don’t know how this might be reproduced in-game, I have tested my settings both in-game and in Steam without any luck. I also have no visual aids because taking screenshots simply doesn’t work as well.

Expected:
Alt-Shift to access the Overlay for discussions, workshop, etc.

Results:
Using Alt+Shift to access the Overlay bring up the zoomed-in upper left corner of the Overlay with no interaction being possible; around the edges I can still see the game accepting my mouse inputs to look around but keys are unresponsive. The only thing to do is Alt+Tab and close/restart the game.

This is a known issue with Steam overlay. It is fixed in the beta branch of Steam. I don’t know when Valve intends to release the fix.

In the meantime, pressing Alt+Enter twice should fix it.

Thank you, I couldn’t find this particular issue in my search. This fixed it up just fine.
