Spinning movers are now extremely desynced in multiplayer ball race custom maps for players who are not the host. This issue would occasionally happen before the update, but seems to be even more common now than ever before. I noticed this issue occuring in ball race custom maps, but it may also apply to custom maps for other gamemodes.
Steps to Reproduce
Play a ball race custom map with spinning movers in multiplayer while you are not the host.
What I expected to happen
The spinning movers to properly spin around and act as they normally would in singleplayer.
What happened
The spinning movers would rapidly desync around, and would fling players extremely far if they were to touch them.
Nope, this example is just the basic spin option. All of the rotating objects in my map use the spin option (except for a few exceptions, like level 10’s rotating planks that uses “Rotate To”). Another of the many places that I noticed this bug was on Roulette Race’s Level 3, where it also seems like the objects at the start are just using the basic spin option (but I can’t confirm since I’m not the creator of that map)
Found something odd. 99% of the time this bug will happen no matter what, but I loaded into the map from a previous map (aka stayed in the lobby and loaded in the next map) and there were no issues with this bug. Then once I disconnected (from the random disconnect bug) and rejoined, the bug was happening. The bug can still happen if you load into the map from a previous map, but somehow it occasionally loads correctly and doesn’t have the bug.
Haven’t found anything else about the bug apart from that, sadly there’s so many bugs with ball race custom maps right now that it’s hard to keep track of what’s broken.
