I was experiencing an issue where Tower unite wasn’t allowing me to play the game on my primary monitor. In the games settings, I noticed that only my second monitor was selectable on the “Monitor” row. My primary monitor is set to my main monitor in the windows settings and every other application has always booted straight to it with no issue.
After a little while, I noticed in the windows settings that the monitors information wasn’t being sent properly. Instead of showing the monitors model number/name, it was showing as “wired display”. This is an issue on the users end that may or may not be solvable considering the lack of information online. Though still, with the improperly displayed information every other game worked fine so I thought id send this in just in case its something you can fix. I have seen a few other people on these threads with the same issue that got no response. After unplugging my second monitor and restarting my computer the model number was being properly displayed in the windows settings. Once I booted Tower Unite, it was once again working normally. I saw both monitors on the “Monitor” row and had no issues using the correct display.
Steps to Reproduce
Unfortunately I do not know how to force windows to see a monitor as “Wired Display” instead of the proper information. This just seems to be a rare issue that happens with no explanation.
What I expected to happen
I expected the game to launch on my primary monitor, or at the minimum display both my monitors on the “Monitors” row allowing me to switch to one or the other.
What happened
The game was launching on the wrong monitor and only displayed the one wrong monitor on the settings “Monitor” row.
