[0.18.0.0] Minigolf SDK: Non-Global Sky Volumes Do Not Work (In Everything Except Editor Mode)

Summary

In editor, non-global sky volumes work fine. In gameworld testing mode, (edit: and live), they do not.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Make a sky volume on minigolf editor
  • Make it non-global, apply any nondefault settings
  • Launch gameworld testing (edit: or live)
  • Observe it not working in those areas

What I expected to happen

Sky volumes to adjust sky and lighting behaviour as seen in editor.

What happened

I placed a few sky volumes in different areas hoping for distinct area gamefeels. Instead my track is now very ugly in actual practice.

Notes / Media

  • It does not matter if you start inside the sky volume, or putt in to it
  • Other volumes seem to work fine, such as sound emitters and post processing
  • I do not have a volume cube to set global sky settings, I just used the sliders on the regular time of day in tab menu, all my sky volumes are localized

Out of curiousity I tested it in the final gameform as well, just to verify that sky volumes do not work there, either.

I made them Very Obvious and ugly for maximum assurance lol.

Starting in the volume:

editor

live

Putting into the volume:

editor

live

Gonna add on that the Gravity volume also does not apply to golfballs for some reason, even though it feels like they probably should.
