I bought 5 tv remotes but I cant equip.
What I did
Restart, sell all tv remotes and rebuy them , open inventory to reload items and try to equip it.

Uh have you bought a tv remote that actually says “Equipable”? The one you got is meant to be a prop for the condo.

There are two remote items, the Media Player Remote and the TV Remote. the latter is just for condo decoration and has no function.
