[0.18.0.0] Connection lost upon joining players

Sometimes, various condos and/or game worlds spits you back out with the “connection to host lost” error!

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Attempt to join a condo or a game world

(there’s multiple examples in which this can work in, but I’m gonna use this condo because “gigasexo” is hilarious)

  1. Pray that you can connect to the host.
  2. Get spat back out to the main menu because your prayers were not answered.

What I expected to happen

You should be able to connect without losing connection to the host.

What happened

Instead of visiting other condos or game worlds, for some reason there’s a weird chance that it’ll just spit you back out.

Notes / Media

It’s not even consistent either since sometimes it lets you connect to the people you couldn’t connect to before, and other times it doesn’t.

For the past couple hours we’ve been experiencing issues with Steam’s P2P connections.

From my experience, it was an issue that started roughly 2-3 days ago. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but it seems to be inconsistent overall. If y’all have any updates, do let me know!

this issue is still happening…random steam friends cannot join into condo and get “connection to host lost” both through steam invite and through the condo hub all while other random people and even other steam friends can?

Issue still seem to be persisting with Steam’s P2P connections.

I’ve personally found that closing the game and restarting the Steam client fixes the issue for those having it. In some rare circumstances, a couple Steam client restarts were required.
