Taunting while in the fishing state lets you move around freely, despite the fishing state normally locking your movement. It gets pretty funny when the fish tries to make its way to your position thousands of meters away.
A few times when I tried it, it also stopped me from being able to move at all, after I had caught the fish, but I was not able to reproduce this reliably.

Start fishing, taunt, move around.

You move around. Sometimes you get stuck unable to move after catching the fish, until you press K to reset yourself.
