Howdy! I’m wanting to put a suggestion forward for folks who want to build more contraptions involving instruments.
Firstly, Can we have a toggle to remove things like the stand and seats for the Electronic Keyboard, Drum Machine, and guitar? Currently, instruments all have a stand that they sit on, which makes them generally difficult to build with because extra space needs to be accounted for with the seats or stands. Keyboards are the biggest culprits of this, as attempting to use them in any build, such as an Organ, causes the seats to clip through the keyboards stacked below it. Guitars on stands also sit back at awkward angles and make it hard to sit them upright to place vertically or on a wall, for instance.
Secondly, while we have Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, a Piano and Electric Keyboard, Drums and a Drum machine (as well as Bongos), we’re missing 3 kinds of instruments: Acoustic Guitars, Digital Guitars (or Digitars), and Melodic Drums. Why js that important? Well, The first two would cover the two missing guitar sound fonts, being things like Nylon and Steel String guitar notes, and Overdriven/Distorted Guitar notes.
, as it’s a pain because this forces basically every strummed instrument to go through the electric guitar and bass, which doesn’t fit for some instruments due to how they’re played or set up. For the last one, Neither the Drums, nor the Drum Machine, is able to cover the Melodic Toms sound font for MIDIs, and having a bigger set of drums would I think be more interesting in the cases of concerts or instrument builds.
If we could have these, it would help immensely.
