[0.17.12.0] "Playlist" mode on the workshop sound emitters does not work at all

Playlist mode on the workshop sound emitter using workshop sounds is completely broken. After the first song it sets the sound emitter to “INACTIVE” and when reloading the condo it returns back to the first song and same issue.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Place a workshop sound emitter
  2. Add a playlist of workshop sounds
  3. Set it to auto play on awake and wait until the 2nd sound
  4. Observe that the sound emitter has been set to inactive and the 2nd sound is not played.

What I expected to happen

The workshop sound emitter to auto play all sounds in order one after the other.

What happened

The workshop sound emitter set to inactive after the first song.

Same here, still waiting for it to be fixed

Bumping.
Still a relevant bug - Not sure if it’s been fixed and reintroduced, but playlists will not move forward without having to manually switch them every time.

I don’t think this is a bug. Is the intended design of playlists to have it all play in succession, without any setup? I thought it was just so multiple sounds could be loaded into a single emitter. That provides more flexibility, since there are many cases where you wouldn’t want them all to play in a row.

You can use I/O to have a playlist go all the way through by itself.

As for the starting song, mine doesn’t change back to the first song on spawn load ever but I might have a different configuration.

The only glitches with workshop emitters I have is sometimes a song will repeat instead of advancing to the next one, and there’s some weird cutouts in between song transitions. Other than that, it works quite well for me.

How so? I’ve been messing with the I/O stuff and playlists for a few weeks and havent been able to get a full understanding how they operate.
