[0.17.11.0] Joining bumper cars can get you stuck in the ceiling

Joined a game of bumper cars mid-game and spawned stuck in the ceiling. Was stuck like this for the rest of the round while constantly getting the “side bump” point bonus.

I did notice that during initial spawning, players can spawn on top of other players (falling down after the bottom car moves), so might be related.

Steps to Reproduce

Join a game of bumpers cars, possibly during the middle of a game.

What I expected to happen

You spawn normally.

What happened

You spawn stuck in the ceiling.

Same issue as this one:

This is due to bumper cars not limiting its player count to 8 like it was designed, so there were too many players spawning in causing the game to place you into at the origin of the map instead. This is fixed in the upcoming hot fix. For now, I’d just wait a bit before hopping into an active bumper car game so cars are not blocking the spawns or only use the cars that are there before the game starts.
