Summary
The Dissector is a bit of a strange weapon in ZM, however an even stranger behavior I noticed recently was that it does not interact with The Queen at all. It’s perfectly able to inflict damage upon every other enemy (including those underneath the boss itself), yet no matter what I tried, refused to deal any damage whatsoever to the boss.
Steps to Reproduce
- Acquire a Dissector during Day 6.
- Left-click while aiming directly at the boss.
- Watch as one’s personal boss damage does not go up whatsoever.
What I expected to happen
The Dissector should function as it does against every other enemy; inflicting one tick of damage roughly every frame it’s within the enemy.
What happened
Said Dissector dealt absolutely no damage to the enemy, making it largely ineffective during the boss fight.

This video demonstrates the issue, note how the boss damage counter doesn’t increase whatsoever, and whenever the Dissector does deal damage it’s not dealing damage to the boss, but is infact killing regular enemies.
