[0.17.10.0] Slope override causing dimmer amount of glow

Pyramids that have the “slope override” option off will have their glow amounts be slightly lesser than normal.

These two pyramids have the same amount of glow and yet the left one is dimmer

This is the purpose of the Slope Override, it essentially rotates the faces to either be horizontal or vertical… causing changes in lighting along the way. Before Slope Override was added Pyramids and Wedges were always incorrectly lit, Slope Override is there as a manual fix for condo owners. If you see that your slope isn’t matching with adjacent canvases, that’s when you use Slope Override.

It’s not as noticeable with Canvas URLs as it is with Canvas Materials (especially on World Align). To see the full extent of Slope Override, put Classic Tiles (World Align) on a Wedge and see how it affects the material as you scale and rotate the Wedge.
