All of the golf balls that i’ve gotten through achievements such as the bowling ball or the rock. They show up in the shop with the “equip” button but when I click it nothing happens. Alternatively within the customize appearance screen in the main menu & while golfing the balls don’t show up at all.

Please list how this bug can be reproduced, if possible. Pictures would be much appreciated!
What I expected to happen
I’d be able to buy or equip golf balls earned through achievements.
What happened
I can’t equip a large amount of golf balls or golf related cosmetics including trails and HIO effects.
I have this exact same error but with the Captain America achievement from Zombie Massacre. The achievement pre-unlocked the item in the shop so I am unable to buy it and actually have it in my steam inventory.
I have this problem with any of the unlockable items in the game. It turns out that there’s some sort of bug here where the shop is conflicted on the item being unlocked, and not being purchased. When you unlock items in the shops, they’re supposed to be unlocked for purchase, not flagged as already purchased. But, the shops are listing these items as purchased, when they aren’t, so we see “Equip” instead of the price. I don’t know anything about coding, so I have no idea how to fix that.
There’s a little trick you can use to fix this, but it gets a bit tedious, as you need to do it for individual items.
1: Find one of these objects and hit “Equip”. It doesn’t matter if the button lights up or not.
2: Exit the store.
3: Return to the store and find that item again. It will now have a Units price. If you don’t purchase it right away, you’ll need t repeat these steps for it.
4: Repeat for each individual item that’s being bugged.
Additional note: Some of these will cause glitchy behavior if you equip one and go into the game, as the game will duplicate your previously equipped ball into the trail slot (if you see 2 golf balls equipped in the golf ball screen, it’s one you’ve got and one you need to buy, the one you own will show up in your trial slot, as well as the equipped ball slot). I don’t know how that affects the game, as I didn’t want to risk crashing or something, so I switched back to an unlocked and purchased trail.
This doesn’t work for me, it’ll then say equipped for that ball on top of whatever ball i already had equipped but still doesn’t show up in my appearance inventory.
I had this issue also with some of the bowling balls. Found that sorting by price and searching the name made the prices show up. The moon ball in bowling was always showing up as equppable, but I hadn’t bought it yet. The cat ball did this when I scrolled down and then back up. Exiting store wasn’t fixing this for the moon ball, so I tried searching for it, and it showed up with the price. Sorting by price also fixed the cat ball, for me.
Try not going into the game with the ball you’re trying to buy “equipped”, because it’s not actually in your inventory until you buy it. You could try searching the ball names, or exiting the ball menu in the shop and then reentering it, or entering the All Items menu. It’s not a guaranteed bugfix, but it seems to help make the prices show up most of the time.
