The jetpack disables itself when taking self-damage or knockback from the firework launcher. The jetpack particle effect continues until Space is released. Pressing space again works as normal.
Steps to Reproduce
- Start flying with spacebar
- Rocket jump off a wall, or let go for a moment and dive near the ground and rocket jump off of that.
- Keep holding space and observe.
This bug has been in the game since at least 2020, according to this post and this post, if not since the jetpack was added. Both of those threads are dead already so I’m not going to necro them.
