The settings menu doesn’t always show up when playing a PS2 game.

Playing a PS2 game on the emulator
What I expected to happen
The settings menu popping up
What happened
The game pauses but no menu shows up

Tried it on ape escape 3 (was a bit choppy at times and there was some graphical glitches) , and then tried to test ratchet deadlock, but ratchet crashed tower unite.
