[0.16.2.0] Media Player optimization issues?

Summary of bug here.
When I turn on a media player it now permanently stunts my performance and makes it jump from being in the 100’s down to the low 40’s and 30’s and turning off the player and making sure nothing is queued, playing currently, or just turning it off will return the lost frames. I did not notice this before media players were tweaked so I could assume it is a recent bug but I may be wrong.

I did some tweaking to the lighting in the game for personal use and screenshots but I noticed the issue before I added all of the tweaks to the engine ini folder and have removed my tweaks and I am still having the same issues. If needed I can try to get some videos but the issue is inconsistent when it shows up its extremely noticeable.

Do you have the “Media Dynamic Lights” setting enabled and what resolution is your Media Video Resolution set to?

I do have media Dynamic lights on and my resolution is set to 1080p but it never actually is 1080p

I am still looking into this issue. It has nothing to do with any media player optimizations we’ve made. Recently YouTube removed the API that allowed us to set the resolution of the video. Because of this YouTube is always defaulting to the lowest resolution for their video playback and there’s no API call to fix this that I have been able to find.
