This Bug can’t really be reproduced, because it’s more or less dependent on the spawn location of the remains themselves.
Normally I would just find the remains scattered around the stairs or the rest of the beach.
The Issue caused was the fact that I could not reach nor claim the Doomed Remains. A potential fix is making it so that they cannot spawn under the stairs, by possibly making the spawn zone move around the stairs.
From what I can tell, this seems to be related to plaza geometry somehow shifting by maybe a few hundred units or so on the vertical axis
An example of this would be having 19 Remains left on the scoreboard counter with none of them being at all visible
What causes this? I don’t really know… The culprits I suspect are a combination of using the map to fast travel, riding a full lap of Dark Voyage, entering and leaving plaza interiors, being forcibly teleported to auxiliary areas that are normally otherwise out of bounds (eg. Nahnia, the Chainsaw Deathmatch room), the longer you spend in the plaza and the more activities you engage in, the more likely it is to happen
Because we fixed the collision, I think now the issue (based on what you found) is that the stairs don’t always exist at the same time as the item spawn, then that causes issues when it goes to place them down. At this point it would be easier to just move the spawner.
