If you select a texture without world align, it turns off world align automatically which I assume is intentional, but it doesn’t re-enable world align if you select a texture that has world align enabled which makes it kinda tedious to change textures if you accidentally select one that doesn’t have world align.
This also applies to Materials that are only World-Align:
