[0.14.3.1] Lights bleed through walls and floors

Lights (specifically the Nanoleaf panels) seem to bleed through walls and floors.

Steps to Reproduce

In Condo, lights can be placed in the basement. I’ve used the Nanoleaf/hexagon panels. And the lights will bleed in the living room.

What I expected to happen

Light is not supposed to bleed upstairs (in the living room).

What happened

Light bleeds outside the basement.

This is a limitation of Unreal Engine, there’s no real way to fix that on the game’s end.

Yes, this is correct. The only other solution would be to enable shadow casting on all dynamic lights which would destroy your FPS immediately.
