But yes, if you join an Accelerate map as its already in countdown, it will consider the race already in progress. A side effect of this means you won’t get the countdown, you’ll start the race before their countdown ends, and because of that your “first lap” only starts after you’ve passed the finish line once… in that whole lap you’ll be a lap behind, essentially being in lap 0 i suppose.
This isn’t unique to this patch, but since it came up I figured I should report it.
What I expected to happen
Not moving until the countdown has finished.
What happened
Starting before everyone else and missing out on the first lap counting.
