Bought my friend the game as a gift. He doesn’t use a mouse, and has tried to connect his switch controller to play. At first it worked, but the right stick was moving the camera so slowly it was unplayable. He tried adjusting the sensitivity settings, and at one point the camera movement improved, but was too fast and sporadic, and he was unable to move around the world at all. When trying to select the controller type in the settings, it defaults to an Xbox One controller option and does not save the preference change to a Switch controller. He has tried restarting the game, but the issue does not improve. He says that once the game launches, his cursor disappears at the Pixeltail Games loading screen and the problem begins there. Is this a glitch or is there anything that can be done to troubleshoot?
The controller support in this game isn’t very great in most places as it’s not a huge focus right now, as far as I know the only games that fully support controllers currently are Ball Race, Minigolf, and Accelerate. None of the menus work 100%, so you have to use a mouse to use them.
