I know this is likely low on the priority list since Speed Shoes are backer only items so not a lot of people own them, but after a Plaza Minigame, I always have to unequip and re-equip my speed shoes to get them to work again. It’s a little annoying but not a huge deal

This is actually a bug that affects nearly all equipables. I think it affects the Weapon Hotbar only, but I may be wrong.
Are your Speed Shoes in the Vanity or Weapon hotbar?

Bump, I always gotta take them off and put them back on every time!

I’ve tried with them in both hotbars and it still doesn’t work after minigames

Can confirm this is still a bug as of [0.17.10.0] currently! pretty annoying having to re-equip after participating every time
