[0.11.1.0] Bug: Bird Feeders run out of tries before the counter has reached 0s

When playing Bird Feeders in arcade, the game resets when there are still about 4 seeds left and pays the tickets. This happens when I try to aim for the big bird, and wait until the basket has been lifted. If I throw the seeds out fast it will let me have all 8 tries.

Is that a bug or a feature?

I think there’s a timer, but I’m not sure if it’s shown anywhere on the machine.
