It’s a feature, not a bug! It happens within the slice of a moment when the zombie’s fire hasn’t proc’d but has touched a survivor. It keeps the zombs from spawn-jumping the survivors in their favorite camping spots. I would argue that if the zombs can’t touch survivors during that time, zombs shouldn’t be allowed to be shot during that time, either.
