You are probably aware of this already, but the media volume doesn’t affect the volume of any non Youtube or Soundcloud media played in the player browser.
It would be nice if you could make video streams directly controllable so that the admin / host can skip through them.
As far as I remember Sam telling me, there’s no way for him to grab the volume for the browser. We adjust volume for Soundcloud and Youtube through their player APIs.

Mac is correct, there’s no way to set the global volume for the browser. I would need to add explicit support for each website.
The alternate solution is to adjust the volume of “Steam Web Helper” in the Windows volume mixer.
