I was wondering if anyone could answer why these map blockouts are still here, they have been around for a while, too far back for me to remember when they were implemented, but i do remember mac saying that the area was going to be the monorail station. That obviously didn’t turn out that way, but, the fact that the blockouts are still there boggles me to no end. A theory i have is that the area got re purposed into something we don’t know about, that has been planned for a while…could be Project 39, but that’s a really big stretch to be honest.
That second set of stairs near the bottom has to go somewhere… Looks like an area that’s meant to have players hanging out in it while queued up, almost like this is a pre-lobby for something. The dueling arena, maybe?
I’m sure they have plans for that area, but whatever that is probably isn’t a priority just yet. I dont think that area would be the dueling arena since I’m guessing duels will be tied to the casino or arcade.
Truth be told, it was something I was thinking about right near the beginning of TU development… I can’t remember what my plans were for it anymore. I do have -other- plans though.
