I remember people on the forums being able to make their own maps back when gmtower was around, is still going to be a thing? Will it come with the workshop update? This was last asked in September so I thought it’s a good idea to ask again by now.
If a level editor is released how would custom made maps work? Would it be like gmod and anyone could download and host it or would the devs look at it and put it into the maps of the current gameworlds?
Technically you could download Unreal Engine and make your own map there, but there hasn’t been any official resources released for map making yet, so you wouldn’t have your triggers or spawns or anything yet.
Right now the most you could do is start blocking out, maybe just get started. Maybe more info on map making and the such will come when Workshop support nears.
Will there be support for those who would like to use UE4? Where we could import game content and use it to create our own maps for the game. Like how you can create maps for CS:GO and they can be published in-game once approved by the devs.
