I think the book item should have an option to add text to the cover and spine, to give them titles and authors. There’s already an ancient thread specifically discussing just spines for books on shelves, but I’m talking about books sitting out in the open. I’d rather enjoy having, say, a copy of Treasure Island sitting on the arm of an easy chair, and in that case a DVD cover isn’t fooling anyone.
Plus, I’m finding it difficult to find cover scans for most books. Just simple editable text would work wonders.
